A page from our guestbook - Spring Days at Casa Rosa

This note and drawing were left by guests who stayed at Casa Rosa from 7–11 April 2026.

7 April – 11 April 2026

As soon as we arrived at Casa Rosa, we noticed its magnetic atmosphere right away. The house, the terrace, as well as the surrounding area, offered us the quiet joy and peace that we all had hoped to find in our very last few days of spring break vacation.

Since then, every day was filled with observing the little lizards on our terrace, searching for scorpions under rocks, using the swings in the valley (which was so much fun!), visiting the waterfall, taking our dog Lucy on long walks, and last but not least watching the sun set behind the hills.

Additionally, we took a one-day trip to Assisi so we could visit the Basilica di San Francesco. We returned happily, with our camera rolls full of pictures. My family was lucky to see the orchids blooming beautifully all over the hills.

Today, we saw a gorgeous snake near the waterfall, which we later identified as the Western Whip Snake. As she turned out to be very shy, it was hard for us to take a good picture. The moth I spotted got our attention by choosing to rest on our window during the daytime and became our friend, even though it didn’t know about that matter.

Dear Ella, Alessandro, Rosa and Verica, thank you for fulfilling even our highest hopes and making these days wonderful through your hospitality!
